So I was reorganizing my desk the other night and found a stack of old PC game boxes, big clunky ones with the CDs inside and those thick manuals. Made me feel super nostalgic. These days I’m almost 100% digital between Steam, Game Pass, and a few other launchers, and honestly I can’t remember the last time I bought a game in a box.
It got me thinking: do any of you still go out of your way to buy physical PC games? Or are those days completely over?
I’ve been on AMD hardware for years, and with NVMe drives and fast installs, I’ve gotten way too used to having my library available at the click of a button. But there’s definitely something cool about lining up game boxes on a shelf, like a little piece of gaming history. Collector style.
What about you al? Digital forever, or do you still collect the physical stuff for your PC setup?
